Maison de la Mer is French for 'House by the Sea', aptly named for it's location on the edge of the historic French style Akaroa village harbour shores of French Bay.T.E. Taylor. Completely refurbished to provide three queen-size ensuite guestrooms, the house has retained it's leadlight windows and natural character, now complemented by a wealth of rich fabrics, designer furnishings and fine art pieces.
